Review of the presentation of our new Messerschmitt models at the Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring

Just in time for the opening, we were able to present three vehicles from the latest production to an interested specialist audience. Extensive technical changes and improvements have been made. The most important change is certainly the use of the new Piaggio engine which, with 155cc and an output of 17 hp, enables completely new driving dynamics. The use of the more powerful engine also made it necessary to use a more powerful braking system. This now decelerates the Messerschmitt with outstanding values and a sporty response. The old steering system was replaced by a rack and pinion steering system, which considerably reduced the steering forces and significantly improved the steering behavior. By changing the floor pan and lowering the seat rails, taller drivers now have considerably more headroom when the hardtop is fitted.
We always have a selection of vehicles in stock at our premises in Sassenberg, Westphalia. Arrange a non-binding appointment for a test drive and convince yourself of the performance of the new Messerschmitt paired with a driving experience that does not require three-digit performance values.

First pictures, Messerschmitt KR202 Sport with the powerful 155cc Piaggio engine.

The first Messerschmitt from the new series with the 155cc Piaggio engine has arrived. In addition to the new water-cooled engine, many other improvements have been incorporated into the vehicle. The seating position has been lowered so that taller riders have more headroom on vehicles with a folding cockpit, the braking system and steering gear have been optimized and the front rim size has been changed from 10 inches to 13 inches. The technical tests and approval have already been completed. We are very pleased and proud to be able to offer our customers and interested parties a special kind of driving machine with this vehicle.

Review of the Oldtimer Grand Prix 2023 at the Nürburgring

The Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring 2023 is already history. It was an event of the extra class. Vehicles from many epochs, which can otherwise only be admired in museums, were driven over the race track, sometimes without regard to the technology. The drivers were mixed and the atmosphere was relaxed. We from Neue Kabinenroller had a stand in the new paddock. The highlight was the prototype of the Messerschmitt KR300 which came directly to us from Spain on Friday. This is a replica of the legendary record vehicle with which 25 records were set in 24 hours in 1955. You can learn more about this and other vehicles here on our site.

Motorräder 2023

We were there and are still enthusiastic about the visitors’ response to our products. Besides two Messerschmitt cabin scooters, one in the electric and one in the combustion version. We also fitted a new suspension strut from TFX to a BMW RnineT. At the end of last year, we took over the distribution of TFX suspensions in Germany and are convinced that this product offers an excellent price-performance ratio.
